Vehicle Graphics For this project I was given the photo of the vehicle still in the garage, and the direction that the vehicle graphic should appeal to children. The clients name is Ocean Dental, so of course it would have an under water theme. I have included some images of the process to help illustrate some of the steps I took while designing these graphics. Process and TechniquesThe first thing I did was some work on the provided photograph to help in the design process. Anything detracting from or blocking the vehicle was removed from the scene. Then, to help get proper proportions, I reshaped the side of the vehicle in Photoshop, stretching it back out to have a straight side view of the vehicle. This was necessary since no actual measurements were provided. Because of the size of the final print required, I did the illustration in vector, as it can be sized almost infinitely without the loss of any detail. Using this method I was able to provide the client with not only the finished vector illustration, but a concept drawing of the illustration placed on the side of the vehicle. BusesI have also recently been luck enough to be involved with the design of a couple buses for two different colleges. The designs are yet to be finalized, but I hope to be able to include them here soon. Other large print designs I have completed include 2 billboards for Aggie's Big House in Stilllwater, Oklahoma.
